Vanessa - At the Top of Her Game
2 Years after leaving Midwest Twisters (full ride to UCLA) as the most decorated USAG Jr Olympic Gymnast ever (13 National Individual Titles) - Vanessa Zamarripa continues to shine in the spotlight of US Women's Gymnastics.
Just 2 months after leading the UCLA Bruins to the 2010 NCAA Division I National Team Title and earning the National Vault Title for herself, Vanessa placed among the top in the country at this year's culminating USAG Elite event - the 2010 Visa National Championship. Finishing 8th AA, 2nd Vault, and earning a place on the US National Team, Vanessa will now be a contender on the international stage - maybe now the TV announcers will get her name right (Can you say "Zam-a-REE-pa?").
